As a waitress, I hear tons of jokes and lines told by customers trying to be charming or witty. Most of the time, I don’t find them funny. They expect a facial or verbal response so I just give a fake laugh or smile.
In reality, it’s really annoying and I just want to slap them in the face. I just want money…
